RCCB Type HD

Doepke Heavy Duty (HD) RCCBs are designed to deliver reliable residual current protection in harsh and demanding environments. Engineered to withstand extremes of heat, cold, moisture, corrosive gases and dust, the HD range offers long-term performance where standard devices may not be suitable.

Manufactured using special alloys and a stainless steel switching mechanism, these devices provide enhanced durability and consistent operation. They also maintain protection even in the de-energised state and are rated for operating temperatures up to 60°C. The majority of RCCB devices are available in the HD design.

Typical applications include construction site distribution boards, industrial premises, agricultural facilities, swimming pools, cold storage environments, road side cabinets and electric vehicle charging installations.

All devices comply with BS EN 61008-1.
