1. What attracted you to Doepke? What drew me to Doepke was the outstanding quality and reputation of their products. Working with equipment that’s built around safety and reliability gives me absolute confidence every day. Additionally, Doepke's local presence, being close to where I live, made the opportunity even more appealing. I’ve previously overseen large-scale electrical projects across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. I hold testing and inspection certification and have worked in critical maintenance environments, including achieving LV Authorised Person status in data centres. Because of this, I feel I can speak the same language as installers and relate to the challenges they face—whether it’s a technical query or a real-world on-site issue. 2. What’s one thing installers should know about RCD selection? When selecting RCDs, doing your due diligence is crucial. Installers should never rush into decisions without thoroughly exploring all available information. That means using every resource at your disposal—from technical guides and datasheets to manufacturer support. Taking the time to understand the right product for each unique situation can save a lot of headaches down the line and ensure safety and compliance. |

3. What tech trend are you most excited about? I’m genuinely excited about the rapid advancement of eco-friendly and smart grid technologies. As the world shifts toward more sustainable energy solutions, innovations in this space are playing a key role in reducing both carbon footprints and overall energy consumption. It’s inspiring to be part of an industry that isn’t just evolving—it’s making a real difference. From electric vehicles to heat pumps and solar PV, we’re seeing smarter, cleaner systems become the new standard. What makes this even more rewarding is knowing that Doepke’s products are right at the heart of enabling these technologies—providing the protection and compliance needed to make these solutions safe, reliable, and future-ready. 4) What’s your favourite Doepke product and why? My favourite product is the DFS 2/4 B range. It’s a high-quality, reliable safety device that really meets the demands of today’s market. It’s great to see how well it performs in both domestic and commercial settings. We also have some incredibly innovative products currently in development in Germany… but unfortunately, I can’t say more just yet! 5. What’s the best part of your job at Doepke so far? Without a doubt, the best part of my role has been the people I work with. The team here is not only knowledgeable and passionate about their work, but also supportive and collaborative.
